We have an exciting opportunity to join our Engineering Department at Yeo Valley Cannington. This is a rotating shift pattern and a 6-month FTC with the possibility of going to a permanent position.

Demonstrable commitment to people and food safety through actively managing own work and the work of others in line with legislative, company, and working procedures. Ensure the engineering team is utilised in the most efficient way through effective use of CMMS workflows, maintenance planning, and prioritisation of work to meet operational needs. Proactively drive and deliver the highest standard of asset care through the application of best practice, developed knowledge, and technical expertise.

Essential:

  • Apprenticeship or equivalent level of training in multiple engineering disciplines (Mechanical & Electrical).
  • Higher learning qualification in Engineering discipline.
  • Demonstrable application of engineering knowledge.
  • Previous experience of working in a manufacturing/production environment.
  • Developed knowledge and understanding of enhanced asset care.
  • Demonstrable capability in the application of advanced fault-finding techniques.
  • Developed knowledge and application of RCM.
  • Understanding of OEE and the impact of engineering.
  • Ability to develop knowledge in self and others.
