We are looking for a hands-on Regional Fleet Manager to join our busy team at Yeomans Nissan. Customer service is our primary focus, so we require a good communicator who can lead from the front and is able to manage and motivate the team.
As a Regional Fleet Manager, you will be responsible for driving fleet and local business sales performance by creating and implementing sales strategies to secure and develop sustainable corporate, commercial, and public sector accounts. In this role you will have access to the full range of brands we represent at Yeomans, but there will be a key focus on Nissan, Toyota and Honda. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of electric and hybrid vehicle strategies, OEM fleet programmes, funding solutions and the evolving fleet marketplace.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Sales Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive regional fleet and business sales strategy across the region, aligned with targets.
- Target Achievement: Lead, mentor, and monitor a small team of LBDM’s to achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, leasing companies, and manufacturer fleet teams as well as dealership teams to maximise fleet penetration and profitability.
- Tender and Bid Management: Oversee the tender process, including identifying opportunities, evaluating bids, and drafting proposals.
- Vehicle Lifecycle and Solutions: Advise customers on fleet options, including funding methods (contract hire), vehicle types, and the transition to electric vehicles (EV).
- Experience: Proven experience at a senior level in automotive fleet sales, managing teams and large accounts.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the fleet industry, including commercial vehicle (LCV) sales, funding methods (contract hire), and taxation.
- Commercial Acumen: Strong commercial awareness, negotiation skills and the ability to manage complex sales cycles.
- Leadership Skills: Ability to lead, motivate, and coach a small team to success.
- Relationship Building: Excellent communication skills for building lasting relationships with stakeholders.
- Full UK Driving Licence
