Job Purpose
The Parts Sales Executive is responsible for achieving sales targets, building lasting customer relationships, and providing expert knowledge and support. The role requires a professional representation of the TPS brand and a commitment to being a brand champion.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve personal target KPIs and revenue objectives within the designated customer sets.
- Identify and recommend parts to meet customer sales requirements accurately.
- Utilise product promotions effectively to achieve specific targets.
- Identify and capitalise on upsell opportunities to contribute to overall sales growth.
- Stay updated on new or updated parts through training courses and regular information updates.
Customer
- Always provide high-level customer service.
- Build strong relationships with clients through regular phone and email interactions.
- Ensure a high level of service by understanding customer requirements, responding to requests, and providing expert advice.
- Efficiently handle trade customers visiting the TPS Centre.
- Resolve customer concerns or complaints professionally and promptly.
Internal
- Maintain accurate customer records in compliance with the Data Protection Act.
- Communicate credit status to customers in a timely manner.
- Handle customer complaints and disputes professionally and promptly.
Communication
- Assist, support, and liaise with the warehouse team and drivers to ensure excellent customer service.
- Collaborate with the Sales Manager and others to achieve sales targets.
- Provide feedback on customer comments to improve the overall customer experience.
Systems And Processes
- Handle incoming calls and customer enquiries within SLA and strive towards achieving centre KPIs.
- Ensure proper and accurate use of all systems (e.g., EKTA/vin-lookup) for searching and ordering parts.
- Complete all required documentation accurately and promptly.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and efficient working environment.

- Demonstrates excellent attention to detail and accurate record-keeping.
