Established in 1985, Yeomans is a family owned Company with over 800 employees across our Head Office location in Worthing, West Sussex and our dealerships in the Southeast and Southwest of England. We’re proud to represent a variety of global car and commercial vehicle manufacturers.

No prerequisites are needed and we welcome anyone passionate about beginning a career as a Trainee IT Technician located at our Head Office in Worthing (Ferring). In this role you will be a point of contact for employees and managers with general day to day queries and is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop an IT career within a well-established Company.

Qualifications
  • The ability to work well with others.
  • Basic knowledge of computer operating systems, hardware and software.
  • Analytical thinking skills.
  • To be thorough and pay attention to detail.
  • To be multitasking and the ability to work unsupervised.
  • To be flexible and open to change.
  • Some Out of Hours work will be required.
  • To be able to use initiative to learn and be up to date with the latest technologies.
  • A clean Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Permission to work in the UK and based in the Worthing or surrounding towns.
Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on-site and at Head Office.
  • Install and configure computer systems and applications.
  • Provide technical support to end-users.
  • Maintain and update IT equipment and peripherals.
  • Monitor system performance and security.
  • Implement backup and recovery procedures.
  • Conduct routine maintenance tasks.
  • Assist with network troubleshooting and administration.
  • Physical Install of cabling systems and their maintenance.
  • Provide basic instructional training to staff where necessary.
  • Processing of IT waste via our WEEE channel.
Remuneration and Benefits
  • 25 days annual leave in addition to 8 bank / public holidays.
