Established in 1986, Yeomans is a family owned and operated company currently employing over 850 employees across our Head Office located in Worthing, West Sussex and our extensive network of dealerships. We currently have 36 dealerships across the Southeast and Southwest of England representing a variety of global car and commercial vehicle manufacturers. We are currently expanding our HR team and seeking an HR Advisor to join our Head Office located in Worthing, West Sussex.
In this role you will be a trusted advisor, ensuring that our management teams across our dealerships have the necessary support and resources available to make informed decisions relating to their teams.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure managers have the support and resources available to competently manage people related matters across all areas of the employment lifecycle.
- Coach management and provide guidance on people related matters to minimise any risk to the company, escalating to the HR Director when appropriate.
- Review, amend and create policies, procedures and training materials to ensure we remain compliant with relevant legislation.
- With the HR Directors guidance, contribute towards and/or oversee projects which support the HR strategy.
- Support with employee engagement initiatives to maximise engagement across the group.
- Work collaboratively with Payroll to ensure changes to the payroll are communicated and processed correctly.
- Ideally CIPD Level 5 qualified or equivalent demonstrable experience gained within HR.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships across different mediums.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- The ability to consider multiple scenarios and communicate in a concise and logical manner the appropriate steps to be taken, identifying any risks associated with your suggestions.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and display professionalism at all times.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft, Google packages, ADP or other HRIS systems.
- 25 days annual leave in addition to 8 bank/public holidays.
- Access to an Employee Assistance Programme.
Please note this role is located at our Head Office, Yeomans House in Worthing and our working hours are Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 5.00pm. A presence is required in the office on a daily basis and occasional travel may be required to our dealerships.
