An established main-dealer service operation is seeking a hardworking, reliable and experienced Groundscare Machinery Service Engineer for its Exebridge depot. This is a secure, long-term role with genuine career progression, working across a varied fleet of premium turf and compact equipment—both in the workshop and out on customer premises across the South West.

Equipment You'll Work On:

  • Walk-behind and ride-on mowers
  • Commercial and professional turf machinery
  • Compact tractors and utility vehicles
  • Associated groundscare attachments and implements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose, service and repair groundscare machinery in the workshop and on customer sites
  • Carry out pre-delivery inspection and set‑up on new and used equipment
  • Complete job-related administration accurately (job cards, DTAC, digital timesheets)
  • Maintain a tidy, organised workstation and service van
  • Work confidently with the latest diagnostic technologies
  • Mentor apprentices and support team development
  • Adhere to all company health & safety policies
  • Undertake manufacturer and in-house training as required

About You:

  • Proven experience as a service engineer on groundscare, agricultural or compact machinery
  • Competent in modern diagnostic systems and confident with IT
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a wider service team
  • Familiarity with John Deere, Stihl or comparable premium brands is highly desirable
  • Full clean UK driving licence
