We are looking for a reliable site assistant to join our highly focused, dynamic, talented and supportive team based at Yeoman Park Academy in Mansfield.
We are a specialist academy for children aged 3-19 with severe, complex, profound and multiple learning difficulties based in Mansfield Woodhouse with 138 pupils. In our latest Ofsted inspection, we were rated ‘outstanding’. Our academy has a caring and supportive staff team who believe in every child. The future for all children and families who attend Yeoman Park Academy is bright, and we know that when we work together, we can ensure our children achieve their very best.
The successful candidate will:
- Provide a professional and proactive service to the highest levels, ensuring a safe learning and working environment for the benefit of the students and staff.
- Have a flexible approach to working patterns and the support required at the academies.
- Co-ordinate all activities, working with the Team Leader (TL) and Estates & Facilities Managers to undertake a range of duties to the agreed quality standards to maintain and secure the academy site and premises.
- Manage systems, health and safety activities, monitoring, test and recording activities as required.
- Understand the importance of health and safety, compliance and safeguarding.
