We’re looking for a Multi-Skilled Engineer with an electrical bias to support our production team in delivering high-quality products with minimal downtime.

What you’ll be doing:
- Providing electrical and mechanical assistance across production and packaging lines
- Diagnosing and repairing faults quickly and safely to reduce downtime
- Conducting planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and continuous improvement tasks
- Bolstering the integration of new equipment and technology on site
- Collaborating with production and engineering teams to maintain high standards of performance and safety
Your shift pattern:
4 on / 4 off rotation – giving you consistent time off and work-life balance
Sounds interesting, what do I need?
- You’ll need to have a recognized Engineering Apprenticeship or equivalent level Qualification Minimum level 3 NVQ in Engineering.
- A pro-active approach to preventative maintenance/asset care and a logical approach to fault finding diagnostics
- You’ll want to learn and embrace Health & Safety and Quality requirements and standards
- To be self-motivated and happy to work in a fast-paced environment as a team player
- A good communicator, engaging and inquisitive
- Prepared to work 12 hours in a factory environment. It can be physically and mentally challenging
- Able to cope with lots of days off!! We work 4 on and 4 off, so you will only work half the year, and then get 21 days holiday as well
It would also be useful if you have...
- Experience working in Food, Pharmaceutical or similar regulated and audited industries.
- Knowledge and demonstrable experience of RCM, FMEA methods and improvements.
- Advanced Fault Finding and Root Cause experience and Multi-Disciplined capability
- Siemens, Allen Bradley and Mitsubishi PLC familiarity and confidence.
- Experience of Automated processes and Equipment within FMCG environments
- Improvement project leadership
