As Maintenance Technician at our Isleport site, Highbridge, you will be joining our site Maintenance Team in a distinctive, ambitious and trusted manufacturing company that is committed to making great British dairy the right way. Forever. Working closely with the Maintenance Team Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the team to safely deliver engineering services within a high performing workplace.
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off 7:00am until 19:00pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Under direction/guidance from the Logistics Maintenance Manager, maintain site assets through the effective use and interaction with the site Computerised Maintenance Management System, stores and spares.
- Complete preventative routines and schedules as per the planned maintenance requirement.
- Use problem solving techniques and root cause analysis to prevent, detect and eliminate faults, abnormalities and inefficiencies.
- Prioritise tasks across site limiting the operational impact of any equipment downtime.
- Deliver the highest standards of maintenance work.
- Collaborate with other teams and co-owners to effectively manage tasks.
- Embrace and understand site, departmental and individual performance measures and the personal contribution to each.
Experience:
- Experience of maintenance best practices with demonstrable capability and application of knowledge.
- Logical approach to fault finding.
- Ability to solve problems and prioritise workload as required.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- A good standard of numeracy, literacy and Microsoft Office knowledge.
Qualifications:
- BTEC and/or NVQ or equivalent in at least two disciplines; plumbing/HVAC, electrical maintenance.
- Ability to develop resources.
- A pro-active approach to preventative maintenance/asset care and a logical approach to fault finding diagnostics.
- To be self-motivated and happy to work in a fast paced environment as a team player.
- A good communicator, engaging and inquisitive.
