At an exciting time of growth at our Crewkerne production site, we are looking for great people to join us as production operatives, making our great nutritious food within our fruit team. The site is split into different departments, including Dairy production, Fruit production, and the new Savory production team, who make our hearty soups. We are looking for candidates to join our Fruit PM shift (Mon-Fri 1400-2200) in the Skilled Operator role. You will be happy to work in a fast-paced production environment. Full training is provided, although if you have worked in food manufacturing before, that would be an advantage. There is scope to increase the hourly pay once further training has been completed.
Responsibilities
- Working in a fast-paced production area
- Preparing ingredients for production
- Assisting with the production and packing of food products
- Carrying out hygiene and general cleaning duties as required
- Accurately completing production records
- Manual handling
- Operating MHE
Essential qualifications
- Excellent communication skills
- Good numeracy and literacy skills
- Ability to work in a physically demanding role
- A personal commitment to maintaining the highest safety and hygiene standards
- Highly engaged, a good team player
- An ability to work unsupervised
