About the Role
Yeo Valley is seeking an engineering team member to join our Engineering Department in Cannington. The position is a rotating shift pattern, initially a 6‑month fixed‑term contract with the possibility of becoming permanent.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate commitment to people and food safety by actively managing own work and the work of others in line with legislative, company, and working procedures.
- Ensure the engineering team is utilised efficiently through effective use of CMMS workflows, maintenance planning, and prioritisation of work to meet operational needs.
- Proactively drive and deliver the highest standard of asset care through best practice, developed knowledge, and technical expertise.
Essential Qualifications
- Apprenticeship or equivalent level of training in multiple engineering disciplines (Mechanical & Electrical).
- Higher learning qualification in an engineering discipline.
- Demonstrable application of engineering knowledge.
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Developed knowledge and understanding of enhanced asset care.
- Demonstrable capability in the application of advanced fault‑finding techniques.
- Developed knowledge and application of RCM.
- Understanding of OEE and the impact of engineering.
- Ability to develop knowledge in self and others.
