Are you technically minded and looking to grow your career in food production? We are looking for a Technical Operator working nights shift to join our friendly and fast‑paced team at our Crewkerne site.
Key responsibilities
- Demonstrate a commitment to Health role‑model a "Clean as You Go" approach and lead workplace organisation and visual management standards.
- Operate and optimise equipment and priorities to meet production demand and deliver the highest quality products.
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of downtime and raw material usage.
- Undertake advanced/complex fault‑finding, decision making and rectification on equipment; identify root cause and, when required, escalating to engineering.
- Work across the team, ensuring effective handovers to understand common challenges and identify investigations that may help most.
- Train, validate understanding, coach and mentor others to build capability.
- Energise the team and demonstrate a consistently enthusiastic approach, taking action quickly and encouraging others.
