The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 £ per year.
As a Site Maintenance Hygiene Operative you will be responsible for performing low and high level cleaning required within and outside the warehouse, in addition to assisting the Maintenance Technicians with maintenance and repairs on the facility, equipment and property structures. All work will be done in compliance with environmental and Health and Safety regulations. Internal partnerships are a key part of the role, working closely with the site and central teams to ensure repairs are completed quickly and efficiently. Provide knowledge, expertise and a high level of cleanliness standards. This role is based on a Mon-Fri Shift pattern working 40 hours per week.
Key responsibilities:
- Operate within the appropriate procedures and systems defined within the Quality Management System.
- Ensure SHE Legal and environmental targets are met when completing work tasks.
- Under direction/guidance from the Logistics Maintenance Manager, maintain a high level of site cleanliness with the effective use and interaction with the site computerized Maintenance Management System, stores and spares.
- Complete routines and schedules as per the planned maintenance hygiene requirements.
- Ability to prioritize tasks across site limiting the operational impact of any equipment downtime.
- Deliver the highest standards of maintenance hygiene work.
- Complete all tasks and training as required by the business.
- Collaborate with other teams and co-owners to effectively manage tasks.
- Embrace and understand site, departmental and individual performance measures and the personal contribution to each.

Fault Diagnosis and Resolution:
- The ability to think analytically in evolving circumstances.
- Taking a logical approach to fault finding in order to effectively diagnose, rectify and prevent a fault from reoccurrence.
Improving Logistics Capability:
- Asset improvement through the identification, analysis of faults and evaluation of solutions/opportunities.
Essential:
- Experience of maintaining high standards of Health and Safety.
- Experience of cleaning best practices with demonstrable capability and application of knowledge.
- A basic level of IT literacy including maintenance software e.g. PEMAC.
- Ability to communicate with people at all levels.
- A good standard of numeracy and literacy.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
Desirable:
- Experience of internal and external high level cleaning.
- Health & Safety qualification (IOSH or other recognized qualification).
- COSHH awareness.
- IPAF qualification.
A proactive communicator, able to express views and ideas at all levels.
