In this role you will be responsible for delivery of asset reliability and performance through the application of predictive maintenance, preventative maintenance, asset improvement projects, root‑cause analysis and fault resolution.

Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate commitment to people and food safety through own working practices and standards in line with legislative, company and working procedures.
  • Engagement in the development and support of a reliability‑centred approach to asset maintenance.
  • Effective delivery of asset care through the application and completion of planned, unplanned, predictive and preventative engineering activity to a high standard.
  • Collaborate with other teams and colleagues to effectively manage tasks and resources.
  • Work in partnership with the site teams to develop knowledge and understanding in self and others of the assets and processes.
  • Use problem‑solving techniques and root‑cause analysis to prevent, detect and eliminate faults, abnormalities and inefficiencies.
  • Proactively participate in departmental and cross‑functional activity to deliver continuous improvement to support the ongoing development of a high performing workplace.
  • Engage in and actively support project delivery across the site.
  • Effective use and interaction with business systems to build, develop and make use of asset and performance data.
  • Embrace and understand site, departmental and individual performance measures and the personal contribution to each.
Essential Qualifications
  • Apprenticeship or equivalent level of training in a single engineering discipline.
  • Demonstratable capability and application of engineering knowledge in applied skills.
  • Previous experience of working in a manufacturing/production environment.
  • Proactive approach to asset care.
  • Logical approach to fault finding.
  • Provides support and knowledge as a resource to others within own team.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Developed knowledge and application of RCM.
  • Advanced fault‑finding techniques.
  • Developed knowledge of Condition Based Monitoring.
