We are an innovative food business based near Stratford upon Avon looking for an Environmental, Health & Safety Manager to join our team. You will be responsible for EH&S across our greenfield rapeseed processing plant and associated power generation facility.

The Role

This role is Site Based.

The EH&S Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the company’s environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all relevant UK legislation and regulations.

This role will require a proactive, diligent individual capable of working independently to promote a culture of safety and environmental stewardship within our food production business. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in EH&S management, particularly within the food production or manufacturing sectors, and be adept at balancing regulatory compliance with operational efficiency.

  • Relevant professional certification (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH).

  • Proven experience in EHS management within the food production or manufacturing industry.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of UK EHS legislation and standards.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels of the organization.

  • Proficiency in EHS management systems and software.

  • Strong leadership and project management abilities.

  • Ability to work independently and take initiative in a standalone role.
