Kickstart your biotech career this summer. We’re hiring a Summer Student Intern (Cell Biology) to join our Cell Biology team at Yellowstone Biosciences in Oxford for an 8–12 week placement (flexible duration).

ABOUT THE ROLE

You will work closely with experienced scientists, supporting a range of laboratory activities and contributing to active research projects. No prior specialist technical expertise is required—training will be provided. We are looking for someone curious, proactive, and eager to develop practical laboratory skills in a fast-paced, collaborative team.

What you’ll do:

  • Assist scientists with routine laboratory activities and experiments
  • Prepare reagents, materials, and equipment for laboratory studies
  • Maintain accurate records of experimental work and observations
  • Support laboratory organisation, including stock management and general upkeep
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to project discussions
  • Follow laboratory safety procedures and company policies at all times
  • Provide general support to ongoing research activities as required
