Yellow Tree is a Real Estate Investment Fund based in Gibraltar and is dedicated to the ownership, development and management of commercial and residential real estate assets. The Yellow Tree Real Estate Investment Fund is backed by a Gibraltar-based multi-family office. Yellow Tree invests across capital and gateway cities, employing a tailored investment strategy to each geographic region. We achieve this by taking an asset-by-asset approach, where each asset carries its own weight in contributing income without dilution. Each asset has its own business plan that is meticulously followed making sure that each asset performs as expected. We own and manage sustainable and high-quality properties, aligning with the objectives of leading national and international corporations. This ensures that Yellow Tree Group is synonymous with quality, reliability, and enduring success.
This role requires regular travel between London and Gibraltar to ensure strong operational oversight, strategic alignment, and on-the-ground leadership across both locations. Relocation to Gibraltar would be highly desirable and strongly preferred for long-term effectiveness in the role.
The ideal candidate will have deep real estate and hospitality expertise, proven experience in strategic leadership, asset strategy, and stakeholder management, and the ability to deliver results at a senior executive level.
- Local Finance team (cross-functional reporting)
- Strategic Leadership & Asset Management
- Develop (where applicable) or follow and implement already defined business plans at asset-level to optimise long-term value and returns
- Lead business planning, scenario analysis, and investment strategy for portfolio growth
- Implement and oversee all capex projects on an asset level and well as all commercial plans defined for the year of 2026.
- Oversee performance of all assets (office, residential, commercial, and hospitality)
- Ensure alignment of tenant, asset, and operational strategies to maximise occupancy, revenue, and portfolio performance
- Report bi-weekly to Chief Operating Officer on KPIs and points of interest
- Lead the planning and execution of renovation, upgrade and rebranding initiatives, ensuring high-quality standards and ROI
- Strategic support services to assist the Hotel Operator and the Hotel's management team implement delivery of the Current Business Plan and oversee its implementation
- Monitor and report to Yellow Tree C-Level on the implementation of the Business Plan.
- Oversee the Hotel Operator's performance of its obligations and services under the HMA
- Report to C-Level any events which could threaten the Hotels or affect its value
- Undertake a full monthly review of the Hotel business performance
- Monitor guest satisfaction metrics and online reputation and advise on corrective action plans where applicable
- Evaluate internal controls and audit compliance, including fraud prevention measures.
- Identify, make recommendations on investment and performance strategies
- Prepare rolling Capex reserve planning and monitor use of FF&E reserves.
- Advise on investment strategy and ROI analysis.
- Oversee planning and execution of CapEx projects.
- Operational audits of Hotel departments.
- Monitor and advise on sustainability initiatives.
- Report to C-level on a monthly basis with a full explanation of our progress on the various workstreams
- Prepare and deliver within 10 Business Days of the end of each calendar month a monthly “Dashboard” report
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key tenants, investors, local authorities, and external partners
- Provide clear, high-level reporting to the Board and Group executives on portfolio performance and strategic initiatives
- Ensure the business plan is prepared accurately and aligned with strategic objectives
- Oversee future acquisition and integration into the portfolio
- Support due diligence and integration planning for new investments
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and corporate governance requirements
- Monitor portfolio risks and implement mitigation strategies at a strategic level
Proven track record in strategic asset management and portfolio optimisation. Experience overseeing multi-asset portfolios, including office, residential, commercial, and hospitality properties. Strong background in hospitality strategy, operational leadership, and asset development. Commercially astute with P&L oversight and financial planning experience. English proficiency.
