We are seeking a motivated and analytical Junior Real Estate Acquisition Analyst to join our growing investment team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to real estate acquisitions, investment analysis, financial modelling, and portfolio management across multiple asset classes and international markets.
The successful candidate will support the evaluation of investment opportunities, market research, financial analysis, and due diligence activities while working closely with senior members of the acquisitions and investment teams.
- Research & Investment Analysis
- Conduct market research and gather data on real estate sectors, including hospitality, residential, student housing, office, retail, commercial assets, and logistics.
- Support the preparation of investment analyses, business cases, and presentations for internal stakeholders.
- Assist in building and maintaining financial models to evaluate acquisition opportunities and asset performance.
- Analyse property-level financial information, operating performance, and market data.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and economic indicators relevant to investment decisions.
- Support the team in assessing potential acquisitions and portfolio growth opportunities.
- Assist in preparing reports and investment summaries for management review.
- Acquisitions & Deal Support
- Assist with the sourcing and evaluation of acquisition opportunities across the Group’s target markets.
- Review property information, leases, operational data, and financial documentation.
- Support the maintenance and improvement of internal acquisition and investment evaluation models.
- Prepare materials and analysis for investment committee and acquisition meetings.
- Liaise with brokers, consultants, lenders, and external advisors to gather information required for investment assessments.
- Support transaction execution activities and maintain acquisition pipelines and databases.
- Assist with commercial analysis related to acquisitions and strategic initiatives.
- Assist in coordinating financial, commercial, operational, and legal due diligence processes.
- Review budgets, forecasts, and business plans to support investment evaluations.
- Support the analysis of asset performance and identification of potential risks and opportunities.
- Support portfolio monitoring activities and post-acquisition integration processes.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to acquisitions and investment projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- ~1–2 years of experience in real estate, investment analysis, corporate finance, valuation, consulting, banking, brokerage, or a related field.
- Good understanding of financial statements and basic financial modelling principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to analyse and interpret financial and market data.
- Curious and eager to learn about real estate investments.
- Exposure to real estate investment, valuation, acquisitions, or asset management.
- Knowledge of financial modelling and investment appraisal techniques.
- Experience using real estate databases and market research tools.
