We are supporting a client in Pitlochry who is seeking a talented sous chef for their Pub with rooms, situated in the centre of town. As Sous Chef, you’ll be second-in-command in the kitchen, maintaining consistency and quality in this very busy kitchen. Working closely with the owners, kitchen and front of house team to ensure seamless and memorable experiences for all their guests.
What we need from you:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a similar hotel or restaurant setting
- Leadership – confident managing a team, leading by example, and building positive experience for the team
- Passion for food – especially fresh produce
- Commercial understanding
- Up-to-date knowledge of food safety and health & safety requirements
- Open-minded and proactive
- Great communicator – approachable, clear, and fun to work with
- Adaptable and solutions-focused – you keep calm when things get busy
What you’ll get:
- A competitive pay up to £42.2k per annum DOE and a share of tips (estimated up to £2-3,000 per annum)
- Live-in Accommodation – Affordable housing with all bills included – situated off site and within walking distance of work.
- Free Meals on shift
- There is an option to work 6 months up to March on a pro rata contract
