Are you an experienced accountant with a passion for driving financial excellence? Our client is seeking a dedicated Group Accountant to join their team in Glasgow on a permanent basis. In this influential role, you'll work closely with the Finance Director and be central to delivering accurate financial reporting across a dynamic, global portfolio of luxury hotels.
You will oversee the preparation of consolidated financial statements, manage intercompany reconciliations, ensure compliance with IFRS and UK regulatory standards, and lead initiatives that optimise financial processes within the group. The role offers a fantastic opportunity to make a tangible impact on the growth and success of a thriving hospitality business, supporting multiple jurisdictions and international stakeholders.
Key requirements include:
- Two to three years' experience at a similar level, with a solid understanding of accounting standards such as IFRS/FRS 101 - ACCA, ICAS, or equivalent professional qualification
- Proven ability to prepare consolidated group financial statements and manage multi-currency reporting
- Familiarity with IFRS, UK statutory filings, VAT, CIS, and withholding tax compliance
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Ability to plan, prioritise, and work independently with strong attention to detail
- Effective communicator, adaptable, and enthusiastic with a positive attitude

- Hospitality finance experience
