We are looking for a Chef De Partie to join a busy gastro pub in Perthshire. A 13-bedroom pub located in the centre of town, this family run pub is both a local and tourist hot spot. We are looking for someone who is passionate about hospitality, that is reliable and willing to learn.

The Role

  • Preparing a mise on place for station as designated by senior chefs
  • Maintain consistency in taste, portioning and timing as per company standards
  • Cook and plate dishes according to the recipe and presentation laid out by the company
  • Cleaning down the kitchen at close
  • Adhering to company health and safety and food safety legislation
  • Taking on responsibilities laid down by the senior chef

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Minimum 2 years in a similar role
  • Organisational skills
  • Good knowledge of baking, cooking and grilling techniques
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a very fast-paced environment
  • Ability to quickly learn new recipes

What is on offer

  • £14.50 - 15/hr approx. 48 hours a week
