At Yell, a leading managed digital advertising partner for local businesses, we are looking for an experienced and driven Business Development Manager to join our dynamic Field Sales team. You will be responsible for driving business growth by prospecting new clients, offering tailored digital marketing solutions, and managing relationships to achieve revenue objectives.
About the Role
- Hunt for new business: proactively prospect through self‑sourced and company‑provided leads to open doors to new clients.
- Tailor solutions: engage in face‑to‑face and virtual consultations to understand customer needs and offer tailored digital marketing solutions.
- Close deals: present, negotiate, and seal the deal with new and existing clients to drive revenue growth.
- Client management: nurture relationships, ensuring a seamless customer experience and consistent account management for up to 12 months post‑sale.
- Data analysis: conduct in‑depth reviews to identify opportunities for growth, boosting client ROI and delivering long‑term success.
Qualifications
- Proven track record of success in sales (Field Sales or High Performing Telesales).
- Strong relationship‑building and negotiation skills.
- Resilience and a positive outlook in overcoming objections.
- Excellent presentation skills—both verbal and written.
- Experience in solution selling or SaaS (desirable but not essential).
- A full UK driving licence is required with no more than 6 points.
