Your Mission: As a Video Editor you will be at the forefront of our paid advertising strategy, editing high-performing short-form ads that drive customer engagement and conversions. You'll take footage from our video library and produce creatives for Meta, TikTok, and Google, optimising content for different platforms and placements. You’ll stay ahead of trends in the advertising industry, working with strategists and analysts to ensure our ads remain fresh, engaging, and results-driven. You’ll work closely with our brand team to maintain a strong, consistent voice while continually testing, learning, and iterating based on performance insights. Each day is jam-packed and fast-paced, so efficiency is key for producing large amounts of high-quality ads every week. Our creative strategists will provide you briefs (new ones and iterations) which you'll manage, ensuring assets are delivered on time. Your creativity will be instrumental in bringing our campaigns to life, using your skillset to edit videos in numerous ways, providing a diverse collection of adverts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Live and breathe our video library, always know where our best clips are saved.
- Edit creatives in various dimensions and formats, optimised for different placements.
- Understand the difference between organic and paid content - and how to tailor accordingly.
- Stay ahead of trends in the ad industry, bringing fresh, insight-backed ideas.
- Deliver multiple assets every week, new and iterated concepts, on time.
- Collaborate closely with the Brand team to maintain on-brand, compelling content.
What You'll Bring:
- Experience creating paid social ads that convert (especially Meta, TikTok and Google).
- A strong understanding of the difference between organic content and performance-led ads.
- Proactive approach - plugged into trends and what’s working across platforms.
- Produce videos in various dimensions and formats, optimised for different placements.
- Confidence in producing multiple videos every week.
- Proficient using an advanced video editing platform (Premiere Pro is preference, otherwise Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve etc.).
- Ability to add elements and effects to your videos (subtitles, split screens, SFX, basic colour grading, transitions, graphics... etc).
- A fast-paced, high-energy mindset, with a drive to test, learn, and iterate quickly.
- Basic experience in motion graphics and visual effects (After Effects).
Bonus points if you...
- Have worked in pet, wellness, or DTC e-commerce.
- Can create static ads as well as video.
