Your Mission

You’ll keep our warehouse clean, safe, and fully stocked, so the day can run smoothly from the first shift onwards.

This is a genuinely hands‑on role, covering daily safety checks and cleaning duties across the warehouse, Pick, Pack & Personalisation and key equipment areas - the kind of behind‑the‑scenes work that everything else on site depends on.

You’ll be part of our Hygiene and Warehouse team, helping keep the site safe, clean, and ready to operate every day, reporting to the Operations Manager and working closely with the Yard Hygiene Operative and dayshift teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Start of Day
  • Walk the site to check the warehouse is clear and safe to operate - no trip, slip, or blocked-access hazards
  • Check cleaning supplies and PPE are fully stocked and ready for the dayshift
  • Throughout the Day
  • Remove rubbish as it builds up
  • Clean the warehouse floor using the sweeper
  • Clean around the pallet wrap machine
  • Clean the defrost area, once empty
  • Sweep the PPP area
  • Unload and restock cleaning supplies
  • Tidy and clean the cleaning corridor
  • Empty warehouse bins
  • Mop up any oil spills
  • Squeegee water around the steam cooker
  • Stock dishwash detergent and rinse aid
  • If Time Permits
  • Lend a hand with tasks in the yard

Requirements

  • Comfortable using warehouse cleaning equipment (sweepers, mops, squeegees) or keen to learn
  • A sharp eye for spotting and reporting hazards quickly
  • A solid understanding of manual handling and safe lifting practices
  • Reliable, punctual, and consistent - someone the team can count on
  • Takes real pride in keeping a clean, well‑organised site
  • Practical and hands‑on, with the confidence to work independently and use good judgement
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Flexible and happy to muck in wherever the day needs it
