Join Our Pack

From a bold idea to revolutionising dog food, Years has grown into a fast‑scaling business dedicated to helping dogs live longer, healthier lives. In just 3 years, we've built a great start‑up business, serving thousands of happy customers, all while striving to achieve our mission. Our goal? To give dog owners a better, fresher, and healthier way to feed their pets. We provide human cut, personalised meals designed to support each dog's unique needs, delivered straight to their door – no preservatives, no compromises, just real nutrition. You can find our customers across the UK, with future ambitions to scale internationally and continue transforming how people care for their dogs.

Your Mission

Join our small, hands‑on Design team as our new Midweight Designer, helping bring the team to three. We own Years’s visual identity and digital experience, from the website and campaigns to packaging and brand. This is a web‑led role, and your mission is to raise the standard of how Years looks and works at every customer touchpoint, turning briefs into beautiful, effective design that helps more dogs eat better. Day to day, around 80% of your work will be digital and web: landing pages, UI, email, and campaign assets, with the remaining 20% across print and packaging. You'll own delivery on your own briefs from concept through to completion, while contributing to bigger projects led by the Senior Designer. You'll also team up with our CRO & UX Designer on live testing, designing the variants and assets that help us learn what works, and apply our brand guidelines and design system consistently across everything you make. You'll report into the Senior Designer and work closely with marketing, product, and the wider team. This is a role for someone who loves the craft and the making, is increasingly self‑sufficient on familiar work, and is happy to take creative direction on the bigger, more strategic briefs. Expect a fast pace, plenty of variety, and the chance to grow your ownership over time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver web and digital work end to end: landing pages, UI, email, and campaign assets (the majority of the role)
  • Create print and packaging artwork, taking it from concept through to print‑ready files
  • Own delivery on your own briefs from concept to completion, and contribute to larger projects led by the Senior Designer
  • Collaborate with the CRO & UX Designer on live testing, designing the variants and assets that tests need
  • Apply and uphold Years brand guidelines and design system across everything you make
  • Work with marketing, product, and the wider team to ship cohesive, high‑quality work
  • Use insight and performance data to help inform and sharpen design decisions
  • Juggle multiple briefs and deadlines without dropping quality

Requirements

What You’ll Bring

  • 3–4 years’ experience as a designer, with a strong portfolio across digital and print
  • Confident taking a brief from concept to delivery, with light direction on more complex work
  • Strong proficiency in Figma, including working within a design system
  • Proficiency across Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Solid typography, layout, and colour fundamentals
  • Print and production knowledge, ideally including packaging (artwork setup, specs, working with print partners)
  • Collaborative team player: organised, open to feedback, and quick to iterate without ego
  • A commercial mindset, you understand that design serves an outcome, not just a brief
  • Nice to have: confidence with analytics tools such as GA4 and Hotjar/Clarity to inform design decisions; experience with Shopify
