The predicted salary is between 20000 - 25000 £ per year.

We are looking for a candidate who relates well to children and is able to attune quickly and understand their needs. A knowledge of the curriculum and how children learn would be helpful. Initially this post will be in a KS1 class supporting the class teacher and potentially supporting children with specific needs, but could change subject to the strengths of the successful candidate.

This post is for Monday to Friday 8.30 a.m. to 3.30 p.m. There is also an option to do a Mealtime Assistant role on top but this can be discussed at interview.

The candidate should have qualifications to assist with teaching children of KS1 age and ideally some experience of this. An understanding of child development would be advantageous. The candidate should understand how they can support the teacher in this role.
