About YeahNice

YeahNice is a multiaward-winning independent creative studio specialising in branding and go-to-market campaigns. Our core markets are tech, beauty and entertainment, and we work with challenger brands who want to punch above their weight and get results. We are a high-craft studio with an ambitious culture, and we care deeply about the quality of what we make.

Your role

The Account Director will lead client relationships and project delivery for a portfolio of YeahNice accounts, reporting into the Managing Director. This is a role for someone with strong client instincts and sharp commercial awareness, who can manage a team, grow accounts and keep delivery running smoothly across a range of clients and briefs. You will work closely with strategy, creative and production, and manage relationships across the business.

Responsibilities

  • Client leadership
    • Act as the senior point of contact for a portfolio of clients, predominately within tech, building trust with stakeholders at every level.
    • Lead client meetings, workshops and pitches, including occasional evening calls with US clients and some international travel.
    • Responsible for growing existing accounts.
  • Project & financial management
    • Own project delivery from brief to final output, working closely with strategy, creative and production.
    • Scope budgets, negotiate fees and manage account financials, keeping a close eye on projected versus actual costs.
    • Track timelines and dependencies properly, and flag risk early so nothing surprises a client.
  • Team & new business
    • Support new business, pitching alongside our strategy and sales team.
    • Contribute to studio culture and help maintain high standards across client-facing work.

What we're looking for

Essential

  • 7+ years' agency experience in client services, within branding, creative or design.
  • A strong awareness of what it takes to run branding projects end to end is a must.
  • A track record of growing accounts, not just running them.
  • Strong financial and negotiation skills.
  • Experience across B2B and B2C, ideally with some tech sector or international client exposure.
  • Excellent organisational skills and genuine attention to detail.
  • Confident communication, equally comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders and writing a clear status update.

Desirable

  • Experience working with tech clients.
  • Exposure to both UK and North American markets.
  • Experience pitching for new business.

Behaviours & ways of working

  • Commercially minded: sees the bigger picture on every account and spots opportunities to grow it.
  • Collaborative and low ego: works closely with creative and strategy rather than over them.
  • Proactive: flags risk and opportunity before being asked.
  • Reliable: meets deadlines, communicates clearly and doesn't drop balls.
  • Adaptable: comfortable switching between clients, sectors and types of brief.
  • Curious: interested in brands, culture and what makes creative work land commercially.

The benefits

  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays.
  • Christmas close.
  • Early finish on Fridays.
  • Budget to attend industry events.
  • Work from anywhere: one month per year allowance.
  • Hybrid working (minimum 2 days a week per home).

The details

  • Full time permanent role.
  • £50,000 – £65,000 - depending on experience.
  • Start date: ASAP.

This job description is not exhaustive and may be subject to change in line with business needs. The post holder may be required to undertake additional duties commensurate with the level of the role.
