What You’ll Do

As an Apprentice Team Leader with Chef and Brewer, your motivational skills and passion for customer care make you the perfect person to lead our front of house teams. You’ll ensure that each team member knows their stuff and can wow customers with a 5* experience. And it doesn’t stop with food and drink! From quizzes to music evenings - your creativity and organisational skills can bring communities closer together.

The Chef and Brewer collection brings together beautiful, cosy country-style pubs where everyone feels at home. We take great care in creating seriously good pub food and expertly curated drinks served by our friendly and knowledgeable team. Customers visit us to get a break from the stresses of life - so our menus, service, and atmosphere are all designed to deliver an irresistible experience that celebrates life’s simple pleasures.

As an Apprentice Team Leader you will...

  • Provide customers with a heartfelt and memorable experience each and every time they visit.
  • Deputise for the management team and resolve any issues that arise in their absence.
  • Help organise and coordinate the team during a busy shift, making sure everything runs like clockwork.
  • Make sure the bar is always safe, legal, and clean, and any issues are dealt with as quickly and safely as possible.

What your apprenticeship includes:

  • You won’t need to attend college, our apprenticeships are delivered through work-based training which includes a mixture of face-to-face sessions and remote Team calls with your Lifetime Learner Coach every 6 weeks.
  • You will also have a mentor within the workplace to support you.
  • Obtain Functional Skills in English and maths, with support tailored to your needs.
  • Reviews every 12 weeks with the Apprentice, Line Manager and Lifetime Learner Coach including feedback sessions.
