We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Logistics Coordinator to join our Contract Engineering team in Wymondham. In this pivotal position, you will support project teams by coordinating global logistics, managing sub-vendor expediting, and ensuring smooth administrative operations. You’ll be the central link between suppliers, internal teams, and clients — helping to keep engineering projects running efficiently, compliantly, and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Logistics Coordination: Coordinate global shipping and transportation of materials, components, and equipment.
- Liaise with logistics providers to ensure compliance with customs and import/export regulations.
- Track shipments, resolve delays, and maintain delivery schedules.
- Prepare accurate shipping documentation, including packing lists, bills of lading, and customs forms.
- Apply knowledge of customs compliance (e.g., HS codes) and act as the focal point for JCI Trade Compliance.
- Optimise logistics processes to reduce cost and improve efficiency.
- Manage export packing internally and with third-party craters, ensuring correct materials, markings, weights, and dimensions.

- Proactively expedite sub-vendor orders and communicate updates to stakeholders.
