About the Role
As a Site Supervisor, you’ll lead a team of on-site engineers and subcontractors, ensuring the effective delivery of mechanical fire suppression services across the site. You’ll oversee preventative maintenance, routine servicing, and remedial works on a range of fire detection and gas suppression systems, including:
- Conventional and addressable fire detection systems
- Networked and graphical fire alarm systems
- Gas extinguishing systems (e.g., Argonite, COâ‚‚, Inergen, Novec)
- Mechanical fire suppression equipment and fire extinguishers
You’ll be the driving force behind maintaining high safety standards, excellent customer service, and smooth operational performance.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support engineers and subcontractors on site
- Deliver maintenance, servicing, and repair activities across fire detection and gas suppression systems
- Assist with design, estimating, integrity testing, commissioning, and client training
- Monitor subcontractor performance and manage site documentation
- Conduct safety and quality audits, ensuring compliance with legislation and company standards
- Report near misses and H&S issues promptly
- Maintain daily work diaries and provide weekly updates
- Promote Johnson Controls’ culture of inclusivity, diversity, and empowerment
- Build strong client relationships and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
What We’re Looking For
