We are looking for an experienced Installation Engineer to install Fire Alarm Systems to industry standards, providing exceptional customer service with industry leading technical knowledge. This role is part of the ADT brand within Johnson Controls.

What you will do:

  • Provide excellent customer service to exceed the expectations and requirements of both the internal and external customers, establishing and maintaining effective relationships with customers.
  • Service the appropriate devices, working safely and responsibly to avoid injuries, damage to property, and the loss of unused materials.
  • Ensure your time is managed efficiently and jobs are prioritised correctly.
  • Correctly complete engineer work reports, handover certificates/BSIA certificates or checklist as appropriate.

Responsibilities:

  • Install Fire Alarm Systems to relevant industry standards.
  • Identify and rectify problems before they occur.
  • Maintain safe working practices and report incidents.

Qualifications:

  • Experience within the Fire & Security industry.
  • Driving licence.
  • Ability to lift and climb ladders.
  • Previous experience working in a customer-facing environment.
  • Hold current relevant qualifications to the industry (e.g., 18th edition / NVQ / City and Guilds / BTEC / FIA).
