We’re seeking an experienced Employee Relations Advisor to join the HR team at YDS Group in a full-time, office-based role. Reporting directly to the Group HR Director, you’ll play a key role in delivering fair, consistent and legally compliant employee relations support across the business.
This is a hands-on role for someone who can confidently manage or support day to day ER activity, absence, support managers and HR admins with clarity, empathy and confidence.
What you’ll be doing:
- Day to day activities in employee relations and supporting policies and procedures
- Providing pragmatic, sound advice aligned with company policies and procedures
- End-to-end case management, documentation and prioritisation
- Supporting managers
- Taking accurate meeting minutes and keeping cases moving at pace
- Spotting ER trends and contributing to continuous improvement in the team
- Working closely with the HR team in general activities
What we’re looking for:
- Demonstrated experience in an Employee Relations advisory position
- Comprehensive and current understanding of employment law
- Ability to manage a varied generalist workload and handle a wide range of queries
- Capable of working independently with a professional approach and strong interpersonal awareness
- Able to remain composed and solution focused in high pressure situations
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively and maintain high attention to detail
- Proficient in HR systems and the Microsoft Office suite
- A CIPD Level 5 qualification (or above) is highly desirable.
