We’re looking for a strategic and creative CRM Manager to take ownership of our customer lifecycle communications and build high-performing journeys that drive engagement, retention, and revenue. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience using HubSpot, a strong grasp of CRM strategy, and the ability to craft engaging, on-brand copy that resonates with different segments of our audience. This is a pivotal role for someone who is both data-driven and creatively minded—someone who can analyse performance and optimise for results, while also writing emails people actually want to open.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and manage the full CRM strategy and execution across HubSpot, including email marketing, workflows, segmentation, and customer journeys.
- Write creative, engaging, and conversion-focused copy for CRM campaigns, product updates, lifecycle flows, and promotional emails.
- Build and optimise automated email workflows and nurture sequences to support the customer journey from acquisition through to retention.
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and design teams to ensure CRM activity is aligned with campaign messaging and brand tone.
- Monitor and report on key CRM performance metrics (open rates, click-through rates, conversions, churn, etc.) and use insights to continuously improve.
- Manage CRM data quality, segmentation strategies, and A/B testing to ensure communications are timely, relevant, and personalised.
- Stay up-to-date on CRM best practices, privacy regulations (e.g. GDPR), and emerging trends in lifecycle marketing.
- Contribute to campaign planning and ideation, bringing the voice of the customer into marketing conversations.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in a CRM or Email Marketing Manager role, ideally within a B2C or ecommerce environment.
- Deep knowledge of HubSpot, including email building, automation, list segmentation, and reporting.
- Strong copywriting skills with the ability to write creative, clear, and on-brand messages that engage and convert.
- A strategic thinker with a strong understanding of customer journeys, lifecycle marketing, and personalisation.
- Data-literate, with experience analysing CRM performance and using insights to guide decision-making.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously.
- Collaborative mindset and experience working cross-functionally with marketing, creative, and product teams.
- A background in marketing, communications, or a related field—Russell Group university degree preferred.
What We Offer:
- Ownership of a key marketing channel with the autonomy to build and scale a best-in-class CRM programme.
- A hybrid role that blends creative storytelling with performance marketing.
- Career growth opportunities, including the chance to build a CRM team in the future.
- A supportive, fast-paced environment in a growing B2C brand.
If you’re a CRM specialist who knows how to write compelling copy and make HubSpot work hard—this role is for you.
