Company: YDS Group (Yorkshire Dental Suite & Smile White)
Location: Leeds - full time office based
Salary: £45,000 – £60,000 depending on experience, plus performance bonus
About us
YDS Group is the parent company behind two growing dental and aesthetics brands: Yorkshire Dental Suite and Smile White. Paid search is one of the most important engines of our growth - it's how new patients and customers find us. We're looking for someone exceptional to own that channel completely: not a generalist who dabbles in Google Ads, but a genuine specialist who lives and breathes paid search and wants the freedom to run it brilliantly.
The role
This is a hands-on, specialist role focused entirely on Google paid search. You'll own strategy and execution across both brands: building, managing and relentlessly optimising campaigns to drive high-quality enquiries at the best possible cost. You'll be trusted with real budget and judged on real results, and you'll have the autonomy to test, learn and push performance as far as it can go.
Key responsibilities
- Own end-to-end Google Ads strategy and delivery across both brands - Search, Performance Max, display and beyond.
- Build, structure and continuously optimise campaigns for maximum return: keywords, bidding, ad copy, extensions, audiences and landing page alignment.
- Manage budgets efficiently, allocating spend where it delivers the strongest return and protecting against waste.
- Set up and own robust tracking, conversion measurement and attribution so every pound is accountable.
- Run a continuous programme of testing - ad variants, bidding strategies, landing pages - and act decisively on what the data shows.
- Report clearly on performance against agreed targets (cost per lead/acquisition, ROAS, conversion rate) and the story behind the numbers.
- Stay ahead of platform changes, new features and best practice, bringing fresh thinking to keep us ahead of competitors.
- Work closely with the wider team to align paid search with broader marketing activity and business goals.
What we're looking for
Essential
- A proven, standout track record of delivering exceptional results through Google Ads - you can point to accounts you've grown and the numbers to prove it.
- Have you managed a budget of over £10 Millions?
- Deep, hands-on expertise across Search and Performance Max, with a real command of bidding strategies, account structure and optimisation.
- Strong analytical skills and total comfort with conversion tracking, Google Analytics and attribution.
- A genuine optimiser's mindset - obsessed with testing, marginal gains and squeezing the most from every campaign.
- The ability to own a channel independently and be accountable for its results.
- Sharp commercial instincts - you understand that the goal is profitable growth, not just clicks.
Desirable
- Experience managing paid search for lead generation in healthcare, dental, aesthetics or another considered-purchase / regulated sector.
- Experience running paid search across multiple brands, locations or sites.
- Familiarity with landing page optimisation and CRO.
- Google Ads certification.
What we offer
A salary of £45,000 – £60,000 depending on experience, plus a performance-related bonus tied to results. Full ownership of a high-impact channel, with real budget and the autonomy to run it your way. The backing of two ambitious, growing brands that take marketing seriously. YDS Group is an equal opportunities employer. We welcome applications from all backgrounds.
