Our client has an exciting opportunity for a committed and experienced individual to join their company as a full-time, permanent Air Conditioning Service Engineer. You will be instrumental in servicing and maintaining a variety of air conditioning systems across their client base.
Key Responsibilities- Performing high-quality reactive and planned maintenance services specifically on various air conditioning systems, including VRF, Splits, Chillers, Refrigeration equipment, and Air Handling Units.
- Conducting building fit-outs and refurbishments as required.
- Ensuring all work complies with mechanical and electrical regulations and health and safety standards.
- Identifying and solving complex problems efficiently and effectively.
- Working autonomously on assigned tasks while also collaborating effectively as part of a larger team when necessary.
- Accurately diagnosing electrical faults in both mains power and control circuits.
- Maintaining excellent customer service and communication skills when interacting with clients and colleagues.
- Air Conditioning Service Engineer: 3 years minimum (Required)
- Maintenance Engineer: 1 year minimum (Required)
- Valid CSCS / FGAS Certification
- City & Guilds 6187-21 – Hydrocarbon Refrigerants
- NVQ Level 2 Air Conditioning and Refrigeration or equivalent FGAS
- Proven experience in the field
- A clean, valid UK driving license (held for at least 1 year)
- Willingness to travel (approx. 25% preferred)
- Ability to identify and solve problems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Presentable, confident, and a good communicator
- IPAF Certification
- PASMA Certification
- NVQ Level 3 Air Conditioning and Refrigeration or equivalent
- Basic knowledge of electrical testing and fault diagnosis
