Electrician – Reactive Maintenance

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrician to join an established electrical contractor on a permanent basis.
The role will be based from the company’s Wakefield office, with work carried out nationally across the UK.
You will primarily be working on the reactive maintenance side, attending sites to diagnose faults, carry out repairs and ensure electrical systems are left safe and fully operational.
The Role
- Carrying out reactive electrical maintenance and repairs
- Fault finding and diagnostics
- Electrical testing and inspection
- Attending sites nationwide
- Completing remedial works where required
- Working safely and professionally on customer sites
- Completing relevant paperwork and job reports
- Supporting with additional works and overtime when required
Requirements
The successful candidate will have
- Level 3 Electrical qualification
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (17th Edition will also be considered)
- 2391 Inspection & Testing
- SSSTS
- Previous experience within electrical maintenance
- Strong fault-finding skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Willingness to travel nationally
