Role Overview We are looking for a strategic, commercially focused Microsoft Alliances Director to lead and expand our partnership with Microsoft, with a core focus on Dynamics 365 (Finance & Operations, Customer Engagement) and the Power Platform. This role sits at the intersection of partnership, sales, and marketing, and is responsible for driving joint go-to-market (GTM) strategy, pipeline generation, and revenue growth through Microsoft alignment. You will play a critical role in positioning the organisation as a top-tier Microsoft Dynamics 365 partner, building strong relationships across Microsoft field and leadership teams, and ensuring consistent alignment with Microsoft’s strategic priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Microsoft Relationship & Stakeholder Management
    • Own and manage senior relationships across Microsoft, including: Partner Development Managers (PDMs), Dynamics 365 Black Belt teams, Industry solution leads and regional leadership.
    • Act as the primary executive contact for Microsoft alliances.
    • Build and execute stakeholder engagement plans to drive influence and visibility.
    • Position the organisation as a preferred Dynamics 365 partner within Microsoft.
  • Alliance Strategy & Execution
    • Define and deliver the Microsoft alliance strategy aligned to revenue growth targets.
    • Lead joint business planning (JBP) with Microsoft, ensuring clear objectives and KPIs.
    • Align with Microsoft priorities across: Dynamics 365 (F&O and CE), Power Platform, Industry cloud solutions.
    • Drive co-sell readiness and maximise Microsoft partner programmes (e.g., Solutions Partner designations, specialisations).
  • Pipeline & Revenue Growth
    • Build and deliver a qualified joint pipeline with Microsoft sellers.
    • Drive co-sell opportunities, ensuring strong engagement with Microsoft sellers.
    • Influence and support large, strategic Dynamics 365 deals into Real Estate prospects.
    • Track Microsoft-involved revenue and pipeline performance against targets.
  • Go-To-Market (GTM) & Marketing Alignment
    • Collaborate with marketing to execute joint campaigns, events, and account-based strategies.
    • Develop industry-led propositions aligned to Microsoft solution plays.
    • Drive visibility in the Microsoft ecosystem through: Case studies, Events and partner programmes.
  • Internal Enablement & Alignment
    • Enable internal sales teams on Microsoft programmes and co-sell motions.
    • Act as the internal advocate for all Microsoft-related activities.
    • Work closely with the Director, Microsoft Operations to maximise benefits from Microsoft partner-incentive programs.
    • Ensure alignment across: Sales, Pre-sales, Delivery/consulting teams.
    • Provide regular reporting on alliance health, pipeline, and ROI.

Key Requirements

  • 8–12+ years’ experience within: Microsoft partner ecosystem, or Microsoft alliances / channel leadership roles.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (F&O and/or CE) is essential.
  • Proven success in driving partner-led revenue growth and pipeline generation.
  • Experience working within a: Microsoft Partner OR Systems Integrator / Consultancy OR ISV aligned to Dynamics 365.
