About the role
We are looking for Functional Consultants who are trained in multiple process areas of applications within Microsoft Dynamics D365 FO. You must be able to work independently and take responsibility for your own tasks and interact with both other project resources as well as client resources in the execution of such tasks. We are looking for people who can take the lead role for a functional area in a project and have a strong background in D365 Finance and Operations and understand core finance setup with focus on the below areas:
- General Ledger
- VAT
- Fixed Assets
- Accounts Receivable
- Accounts Payable
- Credit & Collection
- Product Management
- Inventory management (at a basic level)
Project related work
- Facilitating requirements gathering and solution workshops, managing requirements and agreeing solution designs with key stakeholders.
- Collection & analysis of client requirements and business processes, Documentation, mapping the requirements and proposing suitable changes in line with the product.
- Provide solution overview training to business users explaining functionality also across various modules and processes within the solution.
- Establishing ‘as is’ and ‘to be’ processes to determine the Gaps’ impact and support the plan for migrating from the ‘as-is’ to the ‘to-be’.
- Create documentation i.e., Functional requirement Document (FRD), Functional Design Documents (FDD), configuration documentation etc.
Overall Responsibilities
- Drive the successful adoption and exploitation of Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Lead the facilitation of client workshops to develop, understand and document client requirements.
- Provide FIT/GAP analysis as well as provide design for any GAP’s that may be required as customizations.
- Configure our client’s application to meet the customer requirements.
- Provide ongoing functional support to customers across the Microsoft Dynamics 365 FO but also develop subject matter expertise for the capabilities of the platform i.e. within the area of Sys admin, security etc.
- Independently ensure that timelines and budgets within given areas are met as well as ensure updating and adherence to project tools and methodology.
