Yauatcha Soho, part of Hakkasan Group, home to internationally acclaimed restaurants including Hakkasan, is seeking an experienced Sous Chef Dim Sum to join our culinary team. Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Head Chef in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Dim Sum kitchen.
  • Prepare and present high-quality dim sum dishes in line with brand standards and consistency expectations.
  • Supervise, train and support junior chefs, ensuring strong teamwork and continuous development.
  • Maintain exceptional standards of food hygiene, safety and kitchen organisation.
  • Support menu development, tastings and seasonal updates, contributing ideas and innovation.
  • Manage stock levels, ordering and cost control to ensure efficient kitchen performance.
  • Work collaboratively with front-of-house and management teams to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Junior Sous Chef specialising in Dim Sum or Cantonese cuisine.
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of traditional and modern dim sum preparation.
  • Ability to lead by example in a high-performance kitchen environment.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • A positive, proactive approach and commitment to quality.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United Kingdom.
