We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Commis Pastry Chef to join the team at Yauatcha City, part of Hakkasan Group, home to the internationally acclaimed Hakkasan, Yauatcha and Ling Ling restaurants.
This is an exciting opportunity for an aspiring Pastry Chef to develop their skills within a high-quality, fast-paced kitchen, working alongside an experienced team to create the distinctive desserts and patisserie for which Yauatcha is known.
What Were Looking For
- Previous experience in a pastry kitchen or a relevant culinary qualification is desirable
- A genuine passion for pastry, baking and creating high-quality desserts
- Basic knowledge of pastry techniques and willingness to develop your skills
- Strong attention to detail and pride in the quality and presentation of your work
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to lear
- Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to follow direction
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Good organisation and time-management skills
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends
