Yaspa is an award-winning fintech that connects identity and money to simplify and accelerate the way we pay.
Founded in 2017 by a former Worldpay CTO, Yaspa uses open banking to provide instant bank payments that are faster, more secure and more cost-effective than cards, and to help regulated businesses seamlessly verify customers and their payments.
Yaspa operates across the UK and Europe, is regulated by the UK’s Financial Conduct Authority, and is backed by leading investors including Fin Capital, SGH Capital & Metavallon VC.
Yaspa has recently secured a $12 million (£9m) investment led by Discerning Capital with participation from longstanding Yaspa investor Techstars Ventures.
This milestone funding will accelerate our expansion into the US market as we continue to transform payments and identity services for regulated businesses.
The Role
This is a senior, client-facing role that combines strategic product leadership with hands-on delivery.
You will own the product roadmap for Yaspa’s UK and European products, lead discovery and delivery efforts and manage a small but growing UK based product team in central London.
You will collaborate closely with sales, marketing, operations and engineering to bring products to market, while staying close to customer problems and translating insights into innovative product solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and own the product strategy and roadmap for UK and European products.
- Translate business objectives, customer needs, and regulatory requirements into clear product direction.
- Identify market opportunities and drive innovation that increases Yaspa’s market share and customer value.
- Execution & Delivery
- Lead product discovery, scoping and delivery from concept through to release and launch.
- Work closely with engineering to define requirements, user stories and technical specifications.
- Validate product decisions through customer feedback, market analysis and usage data.
- Ensure all launches are well-coordinated with marketing, operations and commercial teams.
- Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Manage and mentor junior product managers/associates, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
- Partner directly with the CEO and senior leadership to align product vision with company strategy.
- Act as a bridge between clients, internal teams and engineering, ensuring Yaspa remains customer-first.
- Proactively identify and fill product gaps in Yaspa’s offering.
- Champion customer‑centricity across the business, ensuring products deliver measurable impact.
Experience
You will be expected to have the following
- Proven experience in product management within a high‑growth fintech, open banking, payments, or B2B technology environment.
- Track record of successfully designing, building, and launching products into the market.
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies and experience with tools such as Jira, Trello, or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and client‑facing.
- Analytical and data‑driven approach to validating ideas and shaping product decisions. We use Runway and Mixpanel.
- Previous team management or leadership experience, with the ability to mentor and grow product talent.
