b Overview /b p In this role you will define and lead the development and deployment of Siemens NX CAD and PLM systems, while maintaining legacy CAD/PDM environments. You will act as a SME, coach engineers, and deliver training and documentation to raise data quality and user proficiency. Collaborating with IT, vendors, and cross-functional teams, you will shape PLM/CAD processes to support automotive engineering. The opportunity offers hands-on system optimization, governance, and impactful deployment across design and manufacturing workflows. /p b Responsibilities /b ul li Manage Siemens NX CAD and PLM systems for mechanical, controller, and manufacturing data /li li Conduct code reviews to raise technical capability of the team /li li Lead engineers as SME for core CAD/PLM tools to ensure data quality and proficiency /li li Deliver user guidance, training (online and in person) to promote best practices /li li Create procedures and work instructions for system use /li li Develop functional and non-functional requirements to improve PLM/CAD processes /li li Lead development, testing, and deployment of new/enhanced tools to meet PLM/CAD needs /li li Maintain legacy CAD and PDM data within SolidWorks environment /li li Support IT with hardware/software upgrades and testing /li li Liaise with 3rd party vendors to resolve issues /li li Research and stay updated on latest PLM/CAD technologies and tools /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li 3+ years of specialised experience with project ownership /li li Foundational understanding of PLM with automotive context and data management /li li Experience with Teamcenter BMIDE and ITK; proficiency in workflow design and attribute mapping; knowledge of Siemens AWC /li li Experience setting up dispatchers and resolving workflow issues /li li Good understanding of CAD systems (NX preferred) and engineering design process /li li Experience delivering user support, guidance documentation, and training /li li Skilled in project planning, system testing, and data migration /li li Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with ability to present to varied audiences /li li Knowledge of system workflows and business processes (CAD release, BOM, change management) /li li Ability to specify system hardware (CAD stations, servers) is advantageous /li li Analytical, detail-oriented, able to distill user needs into requirements and prioritize backlog /li li Flexible, thrives in a dynamic, fast-moving environment /li /ul ul li communication /li li stakeholder management /li li analytical thinking /li li Siemens NX /li li Teamcenter BMIDE /li li ITK (Integrate ToolKit) /li /ul
