The role
We’re looking for a hands‑on Building Services Technician (M&E) to keep our sites running safely, efficiently, and without disruption. This is a practical, site‑based role where you’ll take ownership of mechanical, electrical, and building services systems — delivering both planned and reactive maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and improving how things run. If you like solving problems, working with systems, and actually seeing the impact of what you do day‑to‑day — this is it.
What you’ll be doing
- Delivering planned and reactive maintenance across M&E systems
- Diagnosing faults and fixing issues (and stopping them coming back)
- Monitoring BMS systems and responding to alarms and performance trends
- Managing work orders and asset data through CMMS
- Supporting statutory compliance (HVAC, water hygiene, pressure systems, etc.)
- Working with contractors on‑site and holding standards
- Supporting small projects, upgrades, and continuous improvement work
What we’re looking for
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical, Mechanical, or Building Services (or equivalent)
- Solid, hands‑on experience in building services / facilities / M&E environments
- Confident fault finding across mechanical and electrical systems
- Experience using BMS and/or CMMS systems
- Strong understanding of safety and compliance requirements
What makes you a good fit
- You’re proactive — you don’t wait for things to break
- You take ownership and see things through
- You’re practical, solutions‑focused, and calm under pressure
- You’re comfortable working independently but also part of a team
- You care about doing things properly, not just quickly
Why join us
- Real ownership of your work — not just ticking boxes
- Variety across maintenance, systems, and improvement work
- Opportunity to get involved in projects and site development
- A team that values reliability, standards, and getting things done properly
If you’re looking for a role where you can make a visible difference to how a site operates every day, we’d love to hear from you.
