As an HR Specialist, you will be responsible for executing HR operations such as recruiting, onboarding & offboarding, payroll, implementing policies, and supporting the managers. You will report to the Regional HR Manager, based in France, overseeing our restaurant sites in Western Europe.
Key responsibilities- HR Operations
- Act as the first point of contact to the employees regarding HR-related questions
- Advise Managers on HR policy, legal requirements, miscellaneous issues, etc.
- Conduct comprehensive onboarding and orientation sessions to ensure seamless integration of new hires
- Provide support and guidance during the HR life cycle (performance review, engagement survey, salary review, etc.)
- Implement global programmes, such as diversity & inclusion initiatives, new policies, etc. at a local level
- Support implementing training programmes
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and internal policies
- Organise and coordinate company events and HR-related initiatives
- Payroll
- Ensure working time, holiday, sickness and other absences are well recorded in the time key system
- Closely work with our payroll provider to run monthly payroll accurately
- Share payroll reports, especially labour cost report, internally
- Recruitment
- Liaise with Managers to establish their recruitment needs, ensuring that they are in line with the budget and activity forecasts
- Place advertisements, develop relationships with schools or relevant stakeholders
- Process applications, shortlist candidates and conduct pre-selection interviews
- Arrange on-site interviews with hiring managers
- Carry out necessary pre-employment checks, including the right to work, and manage the preparation of offer letters and contracts
- Contract: 1-year contract, to be renewed
- Work schedule: 40h / week, from Monday to Friday
- Daily lunch allowance
- Commuting cost reimbursement
- Location: regular business travels to our different locations: Amsterdam, Eindhoven, Eemshave, Middenme etc.
Your profile: You are the HR Specialist we're looking for if you tick these boxes:
- 3+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources / People Operations
- Knowledge of HR labour laws
- Experience working in food and beverage or restaurant industry
- Strong written and oral communication skills in English, other languages - advantage
- Ability to work autonomously
- Experience working in multi-sites / global environment is preferred
- Willing to travel abroad when necessary
