Job Description
- 32.5 hours per week
- Temporary up to 12 months or until the post holder returns; whichever is earlier
- The Governing Body seeks an experienced, innovative, and creative classroom practitioner committed to supporting children\’s wellbeing and learning, with high aspirations and expectations for pupils.
- Llangewydd Junior School is located in Bridgend, part of the Bryntirion Cluster of schools, with 351 pupils aged three to eleven, including 12 mainstream classes and 2 ALN classes.
- The school offers high-quality professional development, a supportive environment, and values staff well-being.
The Successful Candidate Will
- Be an excellent, experienced classroom practitioner with a sound understanding of the Curriculum for Wales.
- Provide high-quality learning experiences that support and challenge all learners.
- Plan meaningful indoor and outdoor learning experiences.
- Work effectively as part of a team and manage support staff.
- Be organized with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Liaise with parents, governors, and the wider community.
- Be able to greet customers through the medium of Welsh.
- Protect children, young people, or adults at risk as a core responsibility.
- Undergo an Enhanced DBS check including Children\’s Barred List.
