We are seeking a conscientious and enthusiastic individual to join our Revenues Team within the Chief Executives directorate. The role involves maximising the collection of Council Tax and National Non-Domestic Rates, while continually improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the service provided to our customers.
Your key duties will include all aspects of Council Tax and NDR administration and recovery work. The role requires accuracy, good organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. Good communication skills and IT proficiency are essential. Currently, all staff are working from home, so the ability to work remotely is necessary. A requirement for this position is the ability to greet customers in Welsh.
Protecting children, young people, or adults at risk is a core responsibility of all council employees. A basic criminal records check via the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) is required. The council applies a Hybrid Working Policy, allowing flexible working hours between home and office.
