Little Phoenix Nursery opened its doors in September 2026 as a new specialist day nursery committed to providing exceptional care and early learning for babies and young children aged 6 months to 3 years. A member of the Yarm School family, the nursery sits within its own grounds close to Yarm High Street. We are continuing our expansion to increase our cohort of children to full capacity and therefore seek enthusiastic and experienced staff to support this journey.
An Early Years Practitioner at Little Phoenix Nursery will support the Early Years Educators in their key person roles. This is a specialised role supporting children within this critical first stage of early learning; you will balance professionalism with a playful approach throughout the nursery day. Practitioners are committed to keeping routines consistent and making time to help the wider team complete tasks. The supportive relationships and warmth the practitioner brings will enable children to thrive at Little Phoenix Nursery. Practitioners will be encouraged to continue their own learning, mentored by the educators they work alongside.
Yarm School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and the successful candidate will be subject to vetting checks including an enhanced DBS check.
