Yardley Wood Community Primary School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, reliable and self-motivated Site Supervisor to join our team of hardworking, skilled support staff who are committed to our school.
We are looking for someone:
- to be responsible for the management of the overall provision of security, janitorial and cleaning services at our school and the associated cleaning staff.
- to be responsible for the management of the repairs and maintenance of the school site.
- to monitor the work of external contractors on site.
The successful candidate will:
- have high standards and take a pride in their work.
- be committed to the improvement of our school and its environment.
- play an important role in our school, interacting with pupils, parents and other stakeholders alike.
- be able to identify and prioritise their own workload, approaching all tasks with a positive attitude.
- have experience in caretaking and cleaning work and have knowledge of maintenance and cleaning techniques.
- have a commitment to training and professional development.
- be able to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing with all stakeholders.
- be able to deal with emergency situations.
