We are looking for a competent organizer to join our events team and help oversee the planning and execution of our events strategy. Be enthusiastic with fresh ideas and the organizational skills. Events include, but are not limited to: Exhibitions, Third Party Conferences and Industry Association Events, Client Conferences and Product User Groups, webinars and client entertainment.
The EMEA Marketing Department is a young, enthusiastic and energetic group with team members based in Milton Keynes, Amsterdam, Mainz and Dubai. The team services several strategically important regions for Yardi Systems; The United Kingdom, Mainland Europe and the Middle East. While creating and servicing marketing strategies and initiatives that are unique to these regions, the group is also an extension of the corporate marketing team located in Santa Barbara, California. Not only responsible for ensuring the development of brand awareness in these regions, the team also supports lead generation activities in support of sales strategy in each country.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES- Play a key role within the events team to ensure the successful execution of a range of events and webinars according to strategy, requirements, target audience and objectives.
- Support the coordination of all pre-event, at-event and post-event activities.
- Be creative and promote new, innovative ideas that will enhance the event’s success.
- Maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, event organizers and industry associations.
- Work with the regional sales team and other department members to ensure the required involvement at events is efficiently executed.
- Work with line manager to ensure approval of all aspects of the event.
- Ensure event is completed smoothly and step up to resolve any problems that might occur.
- Support post-event evaluation and analysis, as well as the evaluation of lead generation.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a broader team.
- A demonstrable level of event planning or coordination experience.
- Excellent organizational skills and a knack for problem solving.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and be deadline driven.
- Ideally web and social media savvy.
- Degree or diploma in marketing, hospitality, event management or a related field is preferred but not essential.
