Overview

Yard Sale Pizza fired up the oven in 2014, starting with weekly supper clubs from our backyard in Hackney.

We now offer delivery, dine-in and takeaway in 17 of our favourite neighbourhoods.

Known for our collaborations, we have teamed up with illustrators, musicians, international chefs and local eateries to pursue the perfect pie.

We have won London's most-loved restaurant in Time Out's 2016 Love London awards, received Best Cheap Eats in the Observer Food Monthly Awards in 2017 and were voted London's favourite pizza in Time Out's inaugural Clash of the Slices in 2022.

Our Leytonstone location has proved a huge hit with the locals, serving pizza for dine‑in, takeaway and delivery – you can now be sure to get a top‑notch pizza pie in E11 & E10.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a small team, handling all areas of prep and cooking.
  • Perform daily kitchen cleaning and maintenance, including washing up and deep cleaning.
  • Prepare orders ready to be sent out and distributed to all shops to support their service.
  • Open the shop and receive deliveries.
  • Learn the YSP recipes and prepare ingredients and dips in batches.
  • Ensure all prep is ready on time for dispatch to all Yard Sale Pizza shops.
  • Manage stock and control using commercial kitchen methods.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience working in a commercial kitchen, dealing with high volumes of prep, managing stock and orders.
  • Excellent organisation skills and ability to work autonomously.
  • Ability to maintain a clean and tidy working environment at all times.
  • Level 2 food safety and hygiene certification.
  • Advantageous: knowledge of risk assessments in commercial kitchens.
